The use of uselessness

Convert the useless into useful.

Zhuangzi, one of the greatest ancient Chinese philosopher, developed the concept of "無用之用，是為大用". This means to achieve the absolute usefulness is to appreciate the uselessness while not being limited in a frame.

We decided to incorporate the spirit into our design by choosing driftwood and giving new value to the part deemed “useless”: the cracks.
